Does the job, works great and reduced noise in radio. I tried a couple of over the counter type suppressors and still had radio noise from my MSD Ignition unit. This one solved the problem.

Works great in European vehicles to get rid of some unwanted noise in aftermarket audio systems. Would be nice to have a bit better bracket system ( perhaps side mount) and slightly larger terminals. For us guys in the shops fabricating something or adding a couple washes is not a problem, but for the weekend guys wrenching on their cars it might require a trip to the store.

The addition of the cap into the ignition system completely solved a horrible noise issue that we had with the amplified audio system in our Chevelle.

I used this in my 72 big block Camaro. I recently had the non-functional OEM radio refurbished. The capacitor reduced but did not eliminate the interference problem from the ignition. The sound is tolerable, but there is still noise.The installation was simple: I used eye connectors to connect the large power and ground wires to the capacitor lugs. It comes with a rubber cover that can stretch over the lugs to protect the hot wire.

Arrived on time and as described. This didn't solve the stereo noise problem in my 79 Corvette with MSD EFI & 6AL. I have a slight static sound that increases with the loudness of the audio being played. Not sure what is causing it.

I'm a professional auto and marine repair mechanic I install a lot of MSD components I'm shocked these capacitor protection units they called a filter are not very commonly installed or sold as a set with the MSD box to protect the electronics in the units from voltage spikes that damage the MSD electronic components in the boxes. I'm shocked they are not marketed as a set or an option with the MSD units.
