MSD 8950 RPM Activated Switch
From the Manufacturer
Can be programmed to turn on a light, activate a high speed retard or cause an air-shifter to shift by simply plugging in an rpm module. The RPM Switch has two activation wires which, at your pre-selected rpm point, will either ground or open a circuit. No RPM Modules are supplied so they must be ordered separately.

I have one of these in my drag car for the solenoid shift and was wondering if anyone knew how to test if its working without running the car to 7500 if I could just test it in my garage or not thanks
