How to lay landscape fabric:
Roll out the fabric
Roll out the fabric on where to cover first.
Incision for plants
Incise holes for plants to grow.
Use sod staples if necessary
U-shaped sod staple (Not Included) helps anchoring the fabric to the ground. Placing U staples about every 1 foot around the garden bed’s perimeter, and additional staples along the seams where two fabrics overlap.
Mulching
To cover with mulch which could be shredded leaves, grass clippings, hay, pine needles, bark, wood chips, straw, sawdust ... or pebbles, stones, crushed seashells. Mulches can prevent excessive evaporation or erosion, enrich the soil etc.

I bought this for my raised garden beds and it effectively kept out weeds and helped combat the slugs in my area from getting in as well! You only need one layer for it to do its job and it's easy to cut and manipulate as needed. I will certainly be using this again, especially when I'm able to transition to on-the-ground garden boxes!

This is the best weed block you can buy, I use it underneath my cars and drove on it all the time, after a year, it’s still is blocking out the weeds. Would definitely buy again.
