Needed to replace these pins for my snowblower. Amazom came thru with the product at a much better price than the local dealer. The material was good quality and they fit perfectly. What's not to like?

I ordered these for my cub cadet snow blower attachment to my tractor.They work as designed, by this I mean I have seen a few reviews stating they are soft but the reality is this part is designed to snap and break to prevent real damage the the snow blower/thrower.My use with the snow blower is on a dirt/gravel driveway so this is important factor to me (as to not have my machine break of the metal bend from rocks) and it works well and does the job.I have ordered these a few times and did note one of my orders, the most recent one, did come with non yellow zinc coated shear pins as some other reviews have noted. They did have some rust on them unlike my previous pins but based on how they are designed to break I am uncertain if it effected the lifecycle of the pin.Overall, they were well priced and installed as they were suppose to and performed as expected. If I didn't have a rock driveway that tended to break pins I would wonder more about the rust of the pins but for now this product works well for me and is priced well for me not to worry much about this.I will continue to order them as needed for my snow blower.

These worked for my Craftsman snowblower and unlike the junk Craftsman branded replacement ones, these actually don't insta-snap.No kidding? I went through 12 of the Craftsmen branded replacement shear pins during the 6 times I used the snowblower. Swapping the pins around made me realize the issue followed the junk craftsman branded replacement shear pins. It appears the factory replacement craftsmen pins are too weak.The original shear pins from 5 years ago that never snapped are still intact and that's after I moved them to new positions!Anyhow, These shear puns are not junk and are "at least equal" in quality to the ones that orginally came with my 2016 Craftsmen 208cc 24" 2-stage snowblower. In desperation, I purchased these. Now I have 8 spares. Money well spent.Update: I've replaced two more pins this last winter. I can confirm that these are quality replacement shear pins.
