I don't do arrows. Not against it, just not an urban thing. However, I looked long and hard for something EXACTLY like this. I wanted something EXACTLY this length, width, and height! I wanted something lightweight and (important!)...CHEAP! What I use this for is to store my extra Bass Trombone slide. REALLY!!! It's perfect! Two foam holders, one at each end, slots already cut to fit the slide snugly in place, strong but lightweight protection. It's perfect! Just what I had been looking for. Sooo... if you are looking to store (and protect!) an extra Trombone slide (which I'm sure you are!) You can't do ANY better than this! Oh,... and it probably does a great job of holding arrows too. But I wouldn't know about those things...

To be clear the point of the case is to store the arrows so that nothing touches the fletching, thus preserving them through long storage periods. If you look at my uploaded photos, you can see that I can potentially store up to 30 arrows (photos with dark arrows), which is 6 more than recommended max. But, and this is a big but, you're using arrows with short fletching profiles (.5 inch) and short fletching lengths (3 inches or shorter). If you have arrows with large feather fletchings (wider than .75 inch profile and longer than 4 inches), do not even try to exceed 18 per case. I have a variety of arrows, the cheapest you'll find on amazon (glued knocks, and tip), the second cheapest (removable knocks and tips), and 2 different types of wooden arrows, both with feathered fletchings (one is short and the other crazy big). In my images you're see lighter yellow arrows, these you don't want to cram or the fletching will touch. I'm sensitive about this because I bought them at an estate sale and many were warped from being stacked over the decades. The dark arrows are from the bowels of amazon, they're cheap. The dark arrow are almost all short fletchings, and regardless of length, if you stagger the arrows properly you can easily fit up to 30 arrow with none of the fletching ever touching anything. There is enough room for fletchings to be floating beyond each other at the ends. At first I didn't like the foam not having notches, but just slit, then I've come to realize its better as its adjustable. Unless you throw this case hard on the floor the arrow are not moving, I'm not a world traveler who'll take these arrows everywhere. I go daily to a range, and the case suits me fine, if anything exceeds my expectations which is why I gave this product a review. I bought my first one at full price and then it went on sale, so I got a refund for that first one and bought 2 more, and have been very happy with them!

Con—-I ordered three clear smoke cases, but received two clear, smoke cases and one camouflage. That’s why I took off one star. I’m debating on whether I’m keeping it or returning it.Pro—-I like the case design, because the latches are better than the original case that I have. They have definitely improved the design. Having a clear case makes it easier to identify what I am storing inside.

Can hold a couple dozen standard diameter shafts or .204's or .166's but if you are planning on putting in 23's, 25's or 27's it will only hold 12 and it is a snug fit. If you are putting in 23's or larger you have to tuck in the foam on the edge before you close the lid. Not a big deal and works well. Would buy again.

I'll admit I've owned the plano version in clear and this is the same quality and already in camo! I bought this one due to that and it was a little longer and I wasnt sure how my arrows would fit but it works amazing. I only wish it was 5 to 7 dollars cheaper but it's an american made product so I'm ok with that

I have no trouble fitting lots of arrows into this case. The trick is to put half the fletchings on each side. This is a very nice case. But, as with all archery products, the profit margin is steeper than it needs to be.

I love this case. It is strong, yet light and hold all the gear we need when my wife and I got target shooting. It easily carries 12 arrows and two long target stabilizers (25-30 inches each), along with our finger tabs, arm guards and a recurve stringer. I estimate I can carry a max of 18 arrows with target points, plus the gear I mentioned. The latches hold very well. It has two tabs for locks, but instead I clip a shoulder strap to each tab and it makes it very easy to carry all your gear and your bows.
