These were more robust than the ones that came with my aluminum trailer. We'll see how they last, but I'm optimistic. Also appreciate that the metal parts are stainless steel.

The latches overall seem quite sturdy, however the metal brackets are not stainless steel, only the machine screws that connect the rubber latch. Since these are going on a boat I am building that will be going on the ocean they will be going back.

I used 2 of latches on my tool box I bolted on the back of my four wheeler. Works great it has never come undone even at 90 kph on rough gravel roads. Adds an extra layer of security no matter what tools and gear that is bouncing around in the box.
