Cart arrived before time estimated, which was helpful. Very easy to put together, didn't even need to read the instructions. Used twice and it worked fine but third time failed, lost the pin for a wheel and it fell off. This I sort of expected to happen due to all the complaints about the wheel pins. Was easy to buy locking pins that worked perfectly for a couple of dollars which really should have been thought of by the manufacture. Other than that the cart works exactly as described and is very sturdy. I gave this four stars because of the pins otherwise it would have been five stars. I would recommend this to a friend.

My interest for this cart was for something I could use to tote straw and hay out to the back 40 feed bunks and shelters for my animals. Due to the constant barrage of pacific Northwest rains turning my land into slop, the only way to get about the property anymore is on foot, and I am no longer physically capable of packing heavy bales through slippery, sloppy mud. I chose this cart because it looked to be the most simple, and it was the least expensive and could be here in two days thanks to Prime.I read all the reviews and those concerns of missing hardware and the wheel hairpins falling out. Having quite a collection of miscellaneous hardware on hand at home and a store in town, I wasn't too worried, and decided to give it a go.My cart arrived whole, with everything it needed, though I could see right away, as others have mentioned, the hairpin for keeping the wheels on was going to be an issue as they are way too big and loose for this application. If you get this cart, you will definitely want to use a cotter pin and bend the ends around the hub instead of wasting your time with the pins that come with it.The 16" wheels are solid, which I very much appreciate, having to constantly pump up and replace inner tubes for my other two yard carts and wheel barrows. Never fails, I go to use something and it's flat or won't hold air.Assembly was quite simple ! Straightforward and super quick. I did put it together with the wheel hairpins it came with, just to see how long they would last, but put a couple of cotter pins in my pocket just in case. As I was wheeling it out the 20 feet to the barn from where I put it together, the wheel promptly fell off. The hair pin had just fallen out, with nothing to even catch on it and pull. So I replaced them with the cotter pins.Save yourself the hassle and just replace them as you assemble your Muddy cart, and you will not have an issue. This is where the star gets knocked off of an otherwise 5 star review. If a person doesn't do the research and they just take it out without knowing that this is a pretty significant error on the manufacturing side of it, and maybe don't have the knowledge to see this is an issue, they will be stuck out in the woods losing hardware while the wheels work their way off. If the idea was to include the large hair pins for ease of removing the wheels to store more flat, and you intend to do so as well, you can get hair pins that are much smaller with a much stronger hold that won't just wiggle out or get pulled out by brush as you traverse the wilderness. The hay bale fit on just perfectly between the wheels and the little cart did amazingly well as I made my way out to the feed bunks. It was very comfortable to pull even up and across my hill. It was balanced and did not feel as if it would tip. I only had 120-ish lbs on it but it pulled without complaint and made the job so much easier than huffing and puffing and falling down with a bale on my back pulling muscles and spraining ankles.I initially thought that the wheels might be on the small size for how much mud I have but I had zero problems with it and was overall, very impressed with it. I can see that this will be a very useful item for me, to help carry things that otherwise I would have to pack by hand in the winter months when I cannot get a vehicle around the place. I will sew a canvas liner for it so I can use it more like a basket to carry smaller things and heck even that will be great for gardening. It is narrow and very maneuverable and I like it so very much.Since I have put this together I have used it every single day. Not just hauling hay and straw. Stove pellets, sacks of feed, boxes of tools... It's getting a serious homestead workout and makes my life so much easier. If you can fit it between the wheels, you can haul it. SO much better and lighter than the wheelbarrow and yard cart!I sure wish I had something like this back in the days of my deer hunting years!

When I got this thing the box was alittle heavy. I was like dang I thought it would be light. However the cart itself is light weight. You can pick it up with one finger. However it's the tires that weights the most. There solid rubber. I'm 220 and I was sitting on it and my wife was pushing me around on this thing in the house with one hand. It's well balanced and for the price I was like worried but I'd pay 150 for it now after using it. Worth every penny

My brother and I scouted a new hunting property and of course we wanted to place a stand on the side of a mountain at the furthest point from the truck. We joked that it might actually be impossible to retrieve a deer from that spot without one or both of us having a heart attack. I ordered this cart just in case and it may be the best hunting purchase under $100 I ever made. The cart arrived Thursday and we assembled it that night (minor issue with assembly with having to drill a hole but even that didn't drop it a star in my book). On Saturday, my brother shot a big buck that ended up at the very bottom of the mountain (of course) over a mile from our truck. I made the trek back to the truck to get the cart and we strapped the deer to the cart (you need light weight ratchet straps not included). It was amazing how easy the cart rolled through the woods. It is very stable and we only had to reposition the deer once. It still took over an hour due to the terrain but we would still be there if not for the Muddy cart. If you think you will ever have the need to drag another deer out of the woods, buy this now!! It is a life saver.

It's ok but to be honest the cage area that holds the deer is a little small. I loaded it up with 4 white tail and a mule deer this year and each time I was wishing I had a bigger one. You have to get creative with the deer to make sure it stays on.

Like the light weight and smaller size. I am using as a walking cart. The lock nuts are a BI to put on, and using a liquid locking glue. Good design.

What better way to make a day better after a harvest than to strap it on the muddy cart and effortlessly bring it back to your vehicle. Can be a little work initially getting a deer on, but waaaaay better than dragging or the dolly I used to use.I made a seat post bracket out of pvc to use with bike. Works pretty well.

I hunt by myself and have been looking for a good cart to haul my deer out without having to struggle too much. I just received it ,put it together and that evening I shot a decent sized doe ,got my new cart and after gutting the deer out I put it on the cart. The cart is awesome,it is so well balanced and was effortless hauling my deer out. Going slightly down hill it practically went by itself. I just had to steer it. By far the best deer cart I have ever used ! Goes over downed trees and rough terrain easily.Being 61 years old this is a game changer for me !

I really like this deer cart, the wheels, axle and chassis are heavy duty the rest of the frame is ok, it’s very easy to haul on this cart.
