Screwed right on my 3" RMC, did not pressure test or anything. Simply using as a cap for the post.

Sometimes pipe threads are too shallow of a taper or too much taper but this cap was spot on. Fit well and tightened up good (without over-running or too soon). Thread size and taper is accurate and the galvanizing coat looks good.
