We laid our own floors and ordered this for the job. Easy to use. Love that it has a safety lock. Makes cuts without issues and has great grip.

I bought these to cut j trim and they don't cut it at all. They hardly even score it. They don't even cut cardboard. Total waste of money.

Served its purpose in a craft project. Cut through 2mm craft wood sticks. But blades wobble preventing it from making a clean cut. Blades also aren’t really sharp enough so that may be the problem.

I saw a video on redesigning just your average plain door by taking trim & cutting it, glueing it to your door, then painting the door. Problem....in order to make the trim into squares, you have to angle cut the corners. My husband could do that with no effort at all, except, he doesn't have a miter saw. His dad does, but that's just to much to go through for what I wanted. On the video, this guy used this tool. Hmm, interesting. So, Amazon here I come again. I haven't used it yet, but I got the one with 2 extra blades. My husband said they are very sharp blades, & made of good metal. He teasingly told me that I probably don't even know what angle I need to set it on. Being married for over 38 years, I pay attention. I said: "45° angle." He just smiled, and said: "yep."

Better off using a saw or machine. The blades wear out fast - thus leaving messey finishes.

I was hoping to cut Lollipop sticks (200mm x 24mm x 2mm) in one snip however it takes 2 snips from both directions and then i must turn the lollipop stick upside down and repeat. This is why i dropped the first star. I dropped another star as the mitre isn't perfect however it might be the result of snipping 4 times .
