These outlook extenders are really excellent. I think I have about nine of them by now and use them on many outlets in my house. They do exactly what I want, allowing me to connect cords from lamps and other devices to the sides of an outlet so I can push furniture closer to the wall than if I was plugging something straight in. Highly recommended.

I usually use the Hug a Plugs which are the original type of this item. They recently changed them and they are much wider now (like 1.5 inches I think) which defeats the purpose of their use.I found these and they worked perfect. Better built quality too.

I bought these because I had a plug outlet behind a bookcase. The extension cord had a regular straight plug and I didn’t want to plug it directly in because: 1. The plug pushed the bookcase too far from the wall. and 2. I didn’t want to force the cord to 90 degrees.With this plug, I can use the straight plugged cord as is without worrying about permanently deforming or possibly damaging my cord.The footprint of this plug is narrower that plugging into the outlet AND it allows me to have a few other options.I highly recommend this if you have something in front of a plug outlet like a bookcase, dresser that you don’t want to have too far from the wall making it look awkward.I kept one and gave 2 to my Father for the same exact issue.You won’t regret this purchase if you like furniture to look a certain way or have safety concerns due to a bent up cord.

I used it for a smart toilet too because space between wall and the toilet back was not enough to connect the power cable. I wish it didn't have outlet connection in the front as it is useless. Instead, it should have an outlet on the top and name of the product on the bottom.

Pros:- As described, these fit, one above the other, in a standard outlet.- Large wall-wart adapters will fit in the front slots.Cons:- Only very narrow wall-wart adapters will fit in the side slots.- The front slots are a bit loose with my two-pronged phone charger (a wall wart).------------These were perfect for me, as I needed two to fit in one outlet, and I'm using the side outlets for cords, not wall warts.I had to squeeze the prongs of my phone charger together to make them fit tighter in the front slots, but that wasn't a big deal.

I was looking for a small multi-plug and this came up, I thought what the heck, so picked it up and it fits perfectly! It feels sturdy enough to last for a number of years. The outlets are stiff and gripping the outlets well.Very happy with this purchase, and would recommend and buy again if i needed more.

Love the shape -- allows us to keep our electric toothbrushes plugged with their cords out of the way at the back which means we can then plug in hairdryer, etc. in the front as needed. Great idea!
