The handle broke from the sword at the first use. It has this cheap plastic connector that broke very easily. We were able to put a small screw and nut on it to hold it but the product is definitely not made to last.

I purchased this for my granddaughter for a "pirate cruise" in FL as well as an outfit. She is 3 and was very excited and happy with the item. I felt it was safe for her age and the pirate cruise was fun with sword fights so well worth it.

Something you could purchase from a dollar store for sure. Very flimsy. Gave it to my son for his birthday and the handle broke off the first night.

This product worked great for its purpose. It was a decent size. It was slightly bendable so is good for kids as it is not too hard. Looks just like a pirate sword!

I bought this for a Halloween costume, because it was the cheapest sword that had free 2 day shipping available with my Prime account. $5 is rather high for the size/quality, unless you factor in free shipping. I would have been very disappointed to pay that plus shipping costs and only get what I got. It also had an orange sticker on the packaging that said $1.99, which was just a little tacky considering what they're charging. It is a kid's toy, so bear in mind that the size and handle are more fitted to a child, but it will suit my purposes fine. One of its best features is that it actually has a metal rivet through the handle to keep the blade attached--it's not a very large rivet, but it seems much more secure than just plastic molding. I don't know how well it would hold up with real sword-clashing action, but it's at least on par or a little better than your basic plastic sword (within the $2-3 variety). The point is not terribly sharp (blunted to about the width of a pencil eraser), and the plastic seams are almost entirely quite smooth. For $2 I would have said it was quite a good product; for $5 it's fine, but not great. At any rate, I'm adequately pleased with it, and it came in time for my Halloween party!

Broke within 5 minutes. Was trying to see if we could use them for our dance recital. We didn’t even hit it. It was just swing around while they danced.
