The design is a little exposed, but the knobs are smooth and easily control the mixing of all inputs. I personally have it on my desk to mix consoles and computers to all output through one speaker set, but it's microusb powered and could probably be used to great effect on the go too (though it's a bit big to slip in a pocket).

Works fine as a passive mixer, with no real need for a power source (an amp is required though). However, the device and my audio plugs became extremely hot and even started to smoke when the power source was connected (110V input fyi). Also, I found a clone of this on eBay that's $10 cheaper and doesn't come with the smoking hassle. Skip this one.

Appears to work well for my needs, but the top panel was cracked near the screw.
