The listing showed these swabs being used with paint. I didn't find them user friendly when used with oil paint. The foam didn't really pick up that much paint, so it took some effort to get paint from palette to canvas using these swabs. Maybe they work better with water based paints. i did find they worked much better at removing paint, if dipped in a little mineral spirits. A few spots of paint had accidentally gotten transferred to the painting I was working on. I was able to clean up the spots easily with a swab using mineral spirits. I have not tried to use them for other cleaning purposes (as shown in the listing) so I can't say how well they work in that capacity.

These are great for sensitive items like electronics or other equipment need precision cleaning without damaging it.I have a major cleaning OCD for electronics and use them daily. Re Order all the time, they are a must use for me. Give them a shot, highly recommend. I’m sure there are other companies out their, who knows just what I’ve had experience using.

Clean crystals after fossicking, dust oboe keys and oil flat springs, swab poodle ears, detail car dashes, clean house plants, polish crevices of silver pieces, degrime tiny louvers on electronics, remove mold from hummingbird feeder flowers...Great to have on hand.
