This bench was installed one week before Hurricane Milton. While we were extremely fortunate in Lee County, Florida to not sustain the winds and damage experienced in other places, we still had well above-average winds and rainy conditions before and during the storm. I held my breath but this bench didn't budge at all.As you can see, circled in the picture, the bench is held in place by two of these ground anchors. I used the 12" length. They were NOT easy to install even using a power drill. Any time the anchor hit a pebble in the ground it would stop rotating and practically rip the drill out of my hand. I wound up basically digging the holes by hand and removing all of the rocks. When the hole was to the desired depth I put in the ground anchor and backfilled with soil, making sure I compacted it really well.I wound up putting the top ring around one of the leg braces of the bench to hold the bench in place. The nut fasteners on the top ring didn't want to cinch down very well. They stayed out on the very end of the grooves (just like is shown in the product's marketing pictures). Once I started using a ratcheting wrench to tighten the nuts they went on better and finally tightened down onto the leg braces.While installing the ground anchors was not easy, overall I'm very satisfied because they worked.

I used these to hold down a harbor freight car port. It blew away a bit. I added these and it's been good ever since. These are very well built i don't think I will have any issues.

I used these anchors on a portable garage and they worked very well except it is a little tough to get the thread on the end lined up with the bracket after driving the anchor. As you can imagine its tough to drive these anchors straight and since the plate that attaches to the end of the anchor has no adjustment it can be a challenge to get the anchor plate tight to your building. There is flex in the anchor rod but I still had to try a couple times on some and add a shim to one. Even with that in mind these are sooo much easier than many of the other options for securing a building.

8 of them are anchoring the tarp type 10x20 carport I have very well. We had some super strong winds and if not for them it would have blown away.USE AN IMPACT TO DRIVE IN GROUND! They have a good size screw blade and an impact made it super easy to set them in the ground.

I bought these to anchor a shed I built. These things are solid metal and of an excellent length to secure your structure to the ground. The brackets & bolts were also of solid construction & installation with an impact drill was a breeze. These ground anchors are sure to keep my structure stable through strong winds. Great value, highly recommended!

This product wasn't bad, just was shorter than expected. To get to the measurement advertised, you have to include the upper assembly that mounts to the item being tied down. That felt a little misleading. The screwed in to the ground portion was shorter than what I needed, so I returned this product.

These anchors are by far the best I have found. Using these to tie down a greenhouse. Messed up the first one when I hit hard ground and turned up the torque with a bigger driver. Used a 1/4" hex driver on the remainder and these went in smooth. They are not going anywhere. Great quality.

With the first one, the material was too poor it ate all the hex nut driver. I was not able to use it at all. Please don’t waist your money. I waisted my money for a cheap quality materials. It’s not describe as you think. My ground is a solid soil and a nail can go down easily.
