I ordered this display case for part of my Seaglass collection. This item is sturdy and inspires confidence in its ability to magnet together. This comes coded in a membrane, that prevents scratches to the surface. It is somewhat difficult to remove, but I’m glad it was there. This item appears to be acrylic, but has held up to handling by children and adults. my daughter brought the display case to an event over last weekend, where it was manhandled by hundreds of children, and it still looks good as new. I showed the item to a fellow collector of Seaglass, and she immediately ordered it herself. Great item.

I got this to put items in that I collect and friends want to view both sides. I would prefer that one side was permanently attached. Each side is a clear acrylic sheet with protection film on both surfaces which need peeled off (4 total) they attach to the compartments by tiny magnets. They will slide around a little if handled a lot so I will probably use a small piece of tape on a couple corners for security. Really nice to have items sorted, easy to see both sides without touching.

These are marketed as sea shell displays that can be set up as a kind of shadow box. They do work for that. They could also work for a hundred different displays, take earring or small necklaces for one. The box is of good quality and the acrylic is clear, which is what was advertised and what was delivered on. Keep in mind they're not too large, so your options are a bit limited, but would provide a fun way to create a personalized decoration to commemorate a trip to a beach...

I used to store my shells in sandwhich baggies, and now I don’t have to! I love this display box. I’m glad that it comes in different grid sizes/qty to accommodate different shells. I might have to get another one! Pulling off the film was probably the most difficult thing to do, but worth it. The magnet feature is nice and seems to hold up well. Now to find more shells to fill out the rest of it!

I love the idea of this, but it could be executed better without too many changes. While this has plenty of cubbies and is meant to only hold small items, the items also need to be very flat, as this container is not very high. Each side comes off easily (but the magnets that hold them in place are also really strong and work well). A major flaw is that the acrylic is cloudy; clear acrylic, at least on one side, would make your collection more visible and I'm not sure why they would not have done that...
