This belt grinder attachment is something I wish I'd bought a long time ago. I added this to a Jet IBG-8 bench grinder I also recently purchased. This thing will hog some steel with the included belt. I can't imagine how fast it would remove material with a 36 grit, for example. You will definitely want to watch yourself around this when it's running, as there are no guards on the front by design. This grinder attachment is well built and the instructions are easy to follow. Set up was simple. The belt tracks nice and straight, and the unit is well balanced with no wobble and little vibration. I don't see myself using a grinding wheel or an angle grinder nearly as much now. This is a very versatile attachment, as you aren't limited to ferrous materials as with a grinding wheel. I haven't used the sanding disc yet, so I can't comment on it. Overall, a worthy addition to my metalworking shop at home!

If you are using hand grinder, switch to this multi-tool attachment. I would suggest the larger 1HP grinder, the 3/4 could work, but go big. Hogs material , slag, really well. Nice and even. Many grits to use.

Mounted on a 1/2 h.p. bench grinder it tears through metal. Haven't been able to bog it down yet. The abrasive belt and disc that come with it aren't anything to brag about. I use belts and discs from Red Label Abrasives which are made in the USA. Runs very smooth, almost no vibration. Only reason for 4 stars is that I haven't had it very long. But so far I'm impressed.

Pretty easy to install, the directions are a little lacking but if you look at what the parts need to do you'll get it. Fairly happy with the performance. Been using combat abrasive belts. 2x72's are stupid expensive right now, so, this will tide us over nicely until I back into the middle-class, thanks post-covid inflation!

I was a little apprehensive when we first ordered this grinder attachment. We were looking to upgrade our little bench top belt sander with something more robust as we were getting into Stainless and needed a separate unit anyway, and boy was this it! Its solidly built, runs smooth and this thing will hog some serious metal! Just put it into service and so far my guys love it! We will see how long it lasts, but Im very happy so far.
