This was purchased as an addition to my body armor my Leatherman wave multitool fits in it pretty well I'm satisfied with that. What I am not satisfied with is once attached to my vest. Anytime I go to remove my tool the case comes off my webbing along with it. I have since purchased another option that is working much better. Save your money buy something else.

Given the cost this little generic holster is good. I ended up using it to hold my knockoff foldable EMS shears. I easily added the extra gaskets to increase its carry capacity and it holds the shears well. I’m going to throw a lanyard on the shears to stop them from getting knocked out but it works. The only negative was the way the color plate fails to align with the hole on the holder. It will not engage properly and it prevents the plate from being flush. I could take it apart again and glue it or file the hole but it’s more cosmetic than anything else. If you want an inexpensive multipurpose holster go ahead and buy it.

Tightened up my retention and it’s working wonders, been upside down and leaning over for a couple precarious repairs and haven’t lost my leatherman out of the holster yet. Works great.

My son-in-law is a plumber and has a Leatherman Wave. He didn’t like the case that came with it, so I gave him this one. He says this case fits well on his belt and it is lightweight, BUT it scratches up the finish on his black Leatherman! It has already happened and he likes this case otherwise, so he’s going to continue to use it.

Nicely made product. But opening is a little big. Leatherman, keep wanting to fall out. No way to adjust it smaller.
