This has been a really great development for my family; It's nice to portion food out for my toddler and have less food littered around his high chair. Plus the food can cool off faster than when it was just going in a bowl. I was worried about all the "it doesn't suction at all!" reviews, but it's been great. Like most things suction, it's not glued to the surface it goes on--eventually comes loose, doesn't suction to surfaces that aren't airtight (wood, or plastic with scratches in it), and toddler lifts it up to figure it out. Regardless, it's still better than just a regular plastic plate that moves all over the place. (Even un-suctioned, the rubber makes it slip resistant.)If the suction is high priority for you, I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher. It has made the suction areas curl a little bit; it still suctions but maybe not as well or as long.Generally always happy with Munchkin products and this one was no exception.

I actually love these plates and I think my little one does too. I like how it’s divided into sections it helps him scoop up his food better bc of the little walls. Before I was just using a bamboo plate that had no sectioning which I love that plate bc the suction is so good but overall I still like these better. The suction on these plates are less powerful I must say but I don’t really have a problem with it. Sometimes it loses suction while he is eating but sometimes it stays on the whole meal. And if I do noticed it’s not suctioned I just press it down and it stays put. Only a couple times has he managed to rip the plate off and the whole plate go flying in his face 🤣 Usually when he is trying to pick up the plate that means he is done so it’s not such a big deal if his food goes everywhere.

These plates are functional and work well for my toddler. They're easy to clean and dishwasher friendly.My only complaint is that the suction cups gave out after a few weeks of use. They do not stick to any surface anymore.

These plates are great for transitioning to plates after mostly eating off the high hair tray. I noticed my toddler becoming more picky about different foods touching and these plates really helped with her eating a little bit more at meal times because the foods were separate. The plates don’t suction the best after running through the dishwasher but I don’t mind that as much. Would definitely recommend these as introductory plates or plates to help your toddler try new foods / eat a little more!

Love this! I was so happy that there is a plastic version of plates that have the suction cup at the bottom. It’s so strong and hard to get off so my baby can’t take the plate off his tray.

I really like these plates, they are easy to clean and are very colorful but the suction didn’t last long. My 16 month old will pull it off and dump it out with one hand

Works great for our family, suction isn’t super strong but it’s enough to make it difficult for our 1.5YO to throw his plate in the floor. He still tried and half the time he succeeded but he just gives up after a few failed attempts and moves in. Grateful that I don’t have to clean up so much food from the floor as I used to
