Definitely not flimsy. Each block sounded good - though the blue block seemed a bit muted to me compared to the others. Not sure if that's unique to my set or what. Product is exactly how it appears in the photo. Used for a live gig and even my drummer, who is not a woodblock guy, enjoyed using it. I liked that I could have half the blocks turned toward the drummer and the other half spun in the opposite direction so I could play them from lead vox position. Well-made. Just make sure to tighten-down well if someone is going to really wail on on the blocks.

Use for my band. Nice stand. Smaller blocks dont give much sound but the yellow block is great. Holds my cowbell and tambourine with a separate extension I purchased from Amazon. I may buy other blocks to use with this stand. Price is good

I bought this for the stand more than the blocks. The blocks are fair in quality and sound.The issues:The spacing of the mounts is too close to fit most items side by side.The knurled surface on the straight pins isn't on both ends so it isn't functional for preventing slippage.The straight pins are also too short to allow for flexibility is positioning.The Z bend pins are too long to be useful in spacing out and given there are only two, they don't help much with the spacing.I likely wouldn't by it again but if you need parts, pins, and a mounting stand it might be fine.

Been really enjoying this. Very sturdy. Fully customizable. The stand alone has infinite potential. I was able to mount my tambourine. Taking it on my first gig w it in 2 days

For $150, I guess I can't complain too much. Just disappointed that the yellow and blue jam blocks are pretty dead sound. You do get everything in the pic.

The stand and mounting block is very sturdy and happy with that and the smaller jam blocks sound great however the yellow and blue jam blocks have no sound at all. The sound you get from them is the same as hitting any piece of plastic. I plan to replace the yellow and blue block with a LP jam blocks.
