I placed my order for these on November 9th and they just got delivered by the USPS today on November 22nd. Only took 13 days to get them from China to doorstep. Not too shabby. They came in a bubble wrap padded 6x6 yellow envelope, and each tuner was individually packaged in small ziploc baggies to keep them from being scuffed. Musiclily also threw 4 thin guitar picks into the mix as a bonus. I've done a side by side comparison to these beside the tuners that are on my Classic Vibe Squier. After studying the two sets of tuners from every angle, I'm convinced they came from the same factory. They seem to be of great quality and they certainly don't feel cheap in anyway. If you guys want a good deal on some vintage tuners, I think you'll find these very acceptable. I've provided some pics that show the packaging and I've also set the musiclily tuners on top of the Classic Vibe tuners so you can get a good look at them. Hope this helps anyone deciding to buy vintage style tuners.

I have an 80’s MIJ Squier that needed new tuning machines. Pretty close to impossible to find accurate or complete specs on “import†tuners. Musically showed detailed drawings describing their tuners, from overall length to post diameter. I just bought a second set for my JV model. Highly recommend

These tuners are great. I put them on my MIM Fender Strat and the guitar holds tune perfectly.Keep in mind, most Strats and Teles have 10mm post holes and the posts on these tuners are 6mm. I had to get 10mm to 6mm adapters to make them fit.The screws that come with the tuners are a bit flimsy. One of the screw heads twisted off when I was installing them. Luckily the tuners came with extra screws and I was able to get the broken one out.

First of all, slight visual defects, nothing terrible, its to be expected. But the bushings didn't fit but that was user error. Bought new bushings, and they were too crowded and they didn't fit on the guitar. So I grinded them down and now they barely fit. Then I noticed one of the posts was wiggling around REALLY BADLY and there is no way to tighten these without removing the back without grinding the metal tabs that keep the back on. So I did that, tightened the tuner, and there is no way to close it back up. I am out $16 and an extra $7 for the bushings. These tuners costed me more then the guitar did. GO WITH MODERN TUNERS!!!!

Installed these on a stratocaster to get a more vintage look with it. These are made well and are easy to install, you will most likely have to drill new holes, but it covers the old holes and these look awesome. Perfect vintage tuners to give your stratocaster a vintage vibe.

I purchased these tunners for a squier neck. one tuner came with a very loose string post and I had to disassemble it. Basically I rebuilt it. I guess nobody is checking them before shipping them out. anyway the price is very cheap. lucky for me I'm a fixer and didn't return them the other 5 tunners are good but pegs are not metal it's chrome coverd plastic but hey what did you expect for 12 dollars

The good: They seem to hold tune okay, the right pieces showed up and they look like vintage tuners.The meh: The thumb pieces are not metal; they are plastic. Not sure if that was mentioned in the description.The boo: Only one of the six I received had holes drilled down into the shaft for the strings to seat inside. The material was moderately soft and I was able to drill out the centers of the other five shafts without much hassle, but you would absolutely not expect to have to complete the process yourself. Once this was done, installation was easy. Possibly just a bad batch, since I haven't seen anyone else mention this but, know that it is a possibility. May want to spend the extra money and look elsewhere.

These are the exact same tuners that come on all the squier / fender classic vibe and vintage modified guitars - these have great tuning stability- ***if using on guitar with 3/8" holes you will need -1/4 inch to 3/8 inch adapters.

Used on a vintage lawsuit era strat. Installed quick, fit properly and tuning is stable. An inexpensive solution…ðŸ‘ðŸ»

Abbastanza semplice da montare a volte c'è la necessità di mettere degli spessori per colpa di fori alla paletta della chitarra leggermente più grandi direi che nel 75% dei casi l'allineamento si trova quasi subito consiglio per avere una rettilineità delle chiavi di stendere prima del nastro da carrozziere o fare una riga a matita e posizionare bene tutte le 6 chiavette

Ich bin mit den Mechaniken absolut zufrieden. Habe diese in eine Fender Strat eingebaut. Stimmgenau und Top Design, was will man mehr.Bei einer 10mm Bohrung benötigt man noch die passenden Adappterbuchsen.Gerne wieder
