Well, I bought one of these because I can't seem to solder an entire project myself, and that's fine by me. At these prices (currently mid-tarriff threats) I can afford to NOT make a mess. The sound of my guitar is actually better in overall tone and that grit one can only get with the right wiring. The pots are ridiculously smooth and functional. As you can see from my two pics, everything is labeled and securely soldered. I normally bust a joint, but not this time. The unit dropped right until place for a secure fit without a struggle. If you know, you know.

I bought the vintage 50's kit to drop in my Les Paul gold top with P90's. The 50's circuit it was a very simple install. The wiring diagram is a lot easier to read than the schematic that came with another kit I bought. This one feels like quality parts. The pots are very smooth. There is plenty of wire coming off the switch and it is all shielded which is great.

I bought this 60s PLUS for my Chinese made Les Paul Standard, to replace the small pots it came with after they broke, and I’m extremely satisfied. It came in a nice box, so I was immediately impressed. When I opened it, it just felt like quality. It came with extras I wasn’t expecting , like 2 jack plates and 3 different switch tips. The harness looks as pretty and clean as advertised. It was super easy to install. The pots roll nice and fast but smooth. Tone-wise, my LP definitely improved. I figured having the treble bleed would be nice, since the guitar would get pretty muddy as I rolled down the volume. Now I get more clarity at lower volumes and the tone taper is much more wide, I can definitely hear a difference all throughout the entire range. Extremely satisfied with this purchase and how well it was put together. You can tell there was care here. I will be buying more for my other guitars. Can’t recommend it enough!!

I installed them in a project les paul. Easy to install. I like the way the pots were on a plastic board. Keeps everything organized

Drop in replacement for original spec Les Paul. A great deal of hum. I'll def have to do some more shielding. Good tone.

This kit was an excellent buy for my Epiphone Casino upgrades. Orange drop capacitors, smooth turning pots, the switches came with different color knobs and new input Jack covers which I really appreciated. Great stuff!

Been playing for 35 years, had a Japanese Tokai LP whose electrics had seen better days. Was going to go the CTS and switchcraft route when I saw this and thought let's see.I honestly thought it would be usable at best, but I am pleasantly surprised, packaging of the item was also excellent. Soldering of components is very good. Pots measured closer to 500k than many more expensive ones I've had over the year (484-496) with the highest value nicely put on the neck volume. Orange drop caps, 3 way switch feels sturdy, well soldered (lead solder btw) and with enough wiggle room on the pots wiring to allow an easy fit. Soldering it all up took about 30 mins including removal of the old loom and lo and behold it works really well. Noise floor is excellent. Pots taper is also excellent. My middle position sounds more Jimmy Page than I've ever been able to get it before.Longevity will be the ultimate test but so far I am very impressed for the price.
