I bought these a while back to remove those plastic retainers commonly used on trim pieces in automobiles and atvs. I had my first opportunity to try them recently, and they work really well for that purpose.

I work in a body shop so they pliers get used alot. They seem to be good quality. They look just like my coworkers matco pliers. I would recommend.

Anytime I want to change fix something under my car or around the wheel well, I always have to remove the plastic retainers and overtime they get hold and hard to remove. Usually I have to use a small Dremel tool to remove the clips that does not remove but thankfully I found this special tool. The tool is very slim, well made, kinda expensive for me but worth it! Make it super easy to remove hard retainer clips and prying any tuff plastic. Also these are very sharp out of the box which I like. Overall great purchase!

This tool is a must have when working with textiles that have metal grommets that you want to remove.

It's perfect for flush cutting zip ties. It's also great for pulling clips. It's also great for making cuts in soft plastic. Love these

I was pleasantly surprised by these pliers. I wanted a pair of these for removing the center pins on the plastic expansion rivets that are common on all cars these days. I have had good success using them for their designed use, but have to say to be effective for pulling clips and pins the jaws are very thin. I think it's important to say the are not side cutters and should not be used for cutting anything. They are meant for pulling plastic pins and clips, that's it. I think it's time for people to stop complaining about "it's made in China" as a general complaint about tools. Yes, for sure allot of Chinese made tools are junk, but some of them are decent tools for what you pay and will last if used properly. I have been a car mechanic for over 40 years and have my share of extreme high end tools made in the U.S. and Europe and I love them. But on tools such as these you have to question how much you are paying and what you are receiving. Don't use these as side cutters on wire and they will give you some long service.
