This was my first time using this channel and I was highly impressed with the construction and how the diffusor provided a truly "neon", uniform light. As you can see from the photos, the channel was installed in a hallway closet and the mounting location meant the homeowner would see the fixture directly. For that reason, we needed a channel that would provide "spotless" light, and also distribute the light in a semi-circular fashion. This channel does precisely what they say it does, and also has a fantastic, stylish, curved milling on the side, with a substantial feel. Highly recommended and I'll use it again. Note: a number of folks have said they were disappointed with the channel not providing "spotless" light. That effect is a function of the diode density on the LED tape, the height of the channel (distance between the diode and the diffusor) and the diffusor density and opacity. I used a tape with 120 diodes/meter, and the effect was truly spotless at all viewing distances. You simply cannot match any LED tape with any channel and get a magical, mythical outcome of no visible diodes. It's more complex than that. In short, use a tape with at least 60 diodes/meter and you'll get a very good outcome with this channel.

Looks like it would work great, but the covers do not fit the channels. The rounded cover is rigid from side to side and will not give at all to snap into the channel. The edge overlaps the of the channel and no amount of squeezing or manipulation will force the cover into the channel.Edited to add: Muzata quickly replaced the channels, and the new shipment worked perfectly. It took just a couple minutes to install with lights. Excellent customer service

I would recommend using 144 pixels/meter strips with these. These genuinely do not have any hotspots, but the cost you pay for that is a loss of brightness. The diffusor is fairly thick, which more evenly distributes the light, but also reduces the luminosity. Others have suggested 60 pixels/meter, but I would actually suggest going to 144 pixels/meter, which is what I am using. With that pixel density they are still quite bright, and color chases are truly seamless, creating that TRON look.Do note that if you go to 144 pixels/meter, you're going to draw a lot of current. For 1 meter you're looking at about 1.6 Amps @ 12V on full white, so about ~20 Watts per meter. Make sure your power supplies are up to snuff. I'm using 1200W HP Server Power Supplies.

I was installing LIFX strips as undercounter lights in our daughter's newly constructed home. When I went to test fit the first strip, we noticed an issue that had not been anticipated. The quartz countertops perfectly reflected the individual LEDs of the strips. The look was decidedly not flattering. I found the Muzata channel with the diffuser after some research and ordered them from Amazon. They made installation a breeze. Cutting them to length was simple using a hacksaw. With the LIFX strip now installed in the channel and the diffuser installed, the LED lights appear as a single bar of whatever color is commanded of the LIFX strip and the reflection on the quartz countertops is a nice even light...very much like a neon tube. I do believe that the diffuser does slightly reduce the light output but not sufficiently so be a problem. I highly recommend.

Used this for a few projects now. With the right led light, it gives a nice neon tube look. Absolutely zero complaints. It’s a solid honest product. They give you all the hardware you’ll need, it’s packaged nicely, it’s at a good price, and it’s just a good product. Good stuff

Went through a bunch of different products and found these to be the best in terms of diffusing led tape lights. Other products diffusing properties were lacking, very thin plastic "lenses" these are much thicker. However these did lower the output of the LEDs . I used 60 led strip, would recommend 90 or 120 if you want really bright. The diffuser is hard to cut. I used a power miter saw and cut it alongside a piece of scrap wood or the diffuser would break. Or use a jig saw with metal blade for straight cuts

I really like the deadening of the covers but I did not like how it still shows the light dots.Easy installation and you might half to cut some up to fit your needs.bot overall good value and the quality is fair.

If you have LED strip lights, these are a must have. No matter which strip lights you have, I can promise you these channels will improve the look.However, to have the perfectly smooth/gradient look you MUST have at least 60 LEDs/m LED strips. With 30 LEDs/m (the most common you find off Amazon) you will definitely have a bit of spottiness.Once I acquire some 60 LED/m LED strips I will update this review and post pictures with both 30 and 60 LED/m for comparison.

In my opinion this should be more expensive for what you get. You get a really premium product and more than enough to do my project. The diffusion is beautiful and something you would see in movie grade lighting for set design.I thought the installation would be hard but it’s so intuitive and easy to do and I got it perfect first time. The end pieces which you get plenty of are lovely and make your project look professional.Overall I’m so impressed and happy and excited because I have 2 lengths left over for a desk lamp I’m going to make myself.Thank you to the sellers.

Packet arrived,all bits included, Easy to install, supplied brackets easy to use and end caps finnish it off nicely. Even distributed light, sturdy enough. Diffuser trim is a right fit...Does dull the brightness slightly but this is normal for diffusers but nice effect. Would buy again.

I bought a 6 piece kit and currently in the process of mocking up how where and what way to lay these diffusersI have tested 1 strip out and they are savage at diffusing the led lightsLooking forward to seeing the finished resultsLife gets in the way sometimes
