I am so pleased with these frames. They are not expensive, relatively sturdy, look good and are perfect for my crafts. I did have a few that arrived damaged, but the issue was resolved instantly and I am waiting for new ones to arrive.

I'm glad I ignored the answer to one of the product questions and just went with my gut about dimensions. This frame DOES hold a stretched canvas up to 3/4 inches thick as long as you remove the mat board and a wooden rim piece that sits against the glass to give it depth for a shadow box. I took all of that out, put in my small painting and then laid the glass behind it to keep it with the frame in the case I want to use it in front of this canvas for any reason, and then fastened the back on perfectly snug. I just paid 7 times more for this exact frame (no backing or glass) to be made because I thought it was the only way to have a canvas properly framed. I didn't like the tone of the wood I received so I bought this one thinking I had nothing to lose. So very glad I did, it's exactly the color I wanted and the quality matches the custom frame and exceeds the overall product by having glass and a backing (also has a cool little sliding metal hanger piece that hooks into the edge of the backing). Absolutely buy this if what I wrote appeals to you, you'll be amazed at the quality and value.

I love this frame. I needed something that would fit an item with a little depth, but didn't need quite as much depth as a shadowbox. Great price and it looks great. Delivered in perfect condition.

11 x 14 frame is outside frame not interior so my 11 x 14 painting does not fit in...very disappointed. bought specifically for this small painting. will keep and use for something else.
