It allowed for more side of the drum triggering, which was good, but I seem to have lost some projection of the overall drum, since I changed this from the original Roland cone. In all fairness there might be other issues. To update my review, I ended up going with the OEM verision. It was $21.00 more at the time of this update, but far worth it to. I have crystal clear sound & excellent projection, just for changing a 15 year old cone.

I used it to replace a nasty old piezo on my PD-120.All my hits register now. I will definitely purchase more.
