Opened my box to find that pieces were missing that were supposed to be included. Kit did not have the slotted tool, needle tool, tweezers or storage box for the tools. Otherwise it would have received more stars.

I was really excited to try out this skill and make some cute paper quilling like I've seen done before, but the patterns and instructions in this are super basic and the card examples they give look kind of terrible. Like I wouldn't give these to anyone I know.... unless they were a kid or something. The instructions say to make a shape then pinch it and bam, new shape. But they don't show you where or how to pinch to get there.... I'll be reusing the cards and envelopes, but not doing the stupid quilling patterns they suggest. Wow.

This is a fun little kit for anyone who wants to learn to quill! I liked that all the tools were included, and there were examples of projects (mostly greeting cards), but there were good ideas of things to make. I had fun learning to make the different shapes that are used in many of the pictures, and there were blank greeting cards and envelopes included if you wanted to use the provided patterns to make real usable products!Definitely a fun way to spend a winter day…..or just for some way to express your artistic side. Good for kids and adults, and plenty of paper to get started!

My daughter loves making cards for special events and this added a whole new dimension to her creations. It's full of supplies, quilling pens, glue etc. and has lots of templates and examples of cards for different days of the year. Get it! Perfect touch to make your cards for family and friends special.
