The product was shipped quickly and arrived ahead of schedule.While the appearance of the item received differed slightly in color from the photo displayed in the listing (red tubing sleeves with simple screen print vs. white on black MYLEC logo as shown), the product is good quality and was easy to replace.It's great to find a sleeved net: Other brands of replacements like Winnwell must be attached to the frame by threading a rope around which is very time consuming. This saved time in replacement and Amazon mail order saved time running around trying to find one in a store.

Update: My barely 50 lb. eight-year-old SHREDDED this net. It's not strong enough for any sort of hockey played with pucks.I bought the net to build a regulation size hockey goal for my kids. My feeling is that for this purpose - younger kids playing street hockey, practicing with light pucks it'll work just fine. I can't imagine though it withstanding any sort of prolonged rigorous use, probably a teenage with any sort of power to his shot would prove too much for it, - the netting just seems flimsy. Product instructions are simple and easy to follow. Also included are the dimensions for plastic pipes - huge timesaver if you plan to build your own, although I'd like to add some thoughts on this matter. The proper PVC pipe size is 1½". Top three-way corner is not easy to find in regular stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Menards don't have them) but can be ordered online, or in a pinch, replaced with a combination of a tee and a 90° elbow. Watch what kind of tee you buy - they can be slip (that is you can thread pipe through it) and non-slip, I think non-slip makes assembly simpler. In this case instead of single 68" piece for each back pipe you will need to cut 2x33" pieces. Finally, short top pipe is listed as 11", that's a bit too tight a fit for a 3-way corner and regular 90° elbow, I'd make it 10½".

It came promptly as promised. Maybe I missed something, but I swear I remember reading that it would work for ice hockey somewhere. While it is 4 X 6 wide (barely) it was not deep enough to cover the top-shelf and make it to the back vertical pipe and the base. OK, fine I just removed the top shelf and back pipe. I like the red pipe covers, pretty cool, though the net does seem a bit thin. Oh well, let see how it handles a slapshot. Whack! Where did the puck go? . . . Oops! Tore right thru the net. Thankfully I have a backstop net - #18 Twisted Knotted Nylon Backstop, 10' High (by Just For Nets, also from Amazon) and it kept the puck from going thru the back wall of my garage. Bottom line, this net is NOT for hockey biscuits. My boys and I will have fun with it and take it easy on it, but I will need to replace it next season for something a bit more sturdy. If you are gonna use it for tennis balls and the like it will be fine.

Makes my old hockey net look new.Fits well with my folding hockey net. Has red sleeves so if your net comes apart you can slide the new net through the poles. Easy and quick install.
