I have a little s hackamore with a small hole to attach a curb chain. My horse has a very small, narrow head and it looked horrible with so much extra chain, plus I wanted to convert it to a leather curb strap instead. The thing is, the hackamore itself can only accommodate attaching something that has a small hook or clip. That is why I purchased this and a narrower leather curb strap that I doctored down to fit my horse. I had to open up the clip on this hook a little bit and then tighten it back down, but it worked out SUPER well and functions how I need it to. This hook is solid and does take some muscle to ensure it's safely on, but I am not worried about it popping off anytime soon.

Exactly as described and work great with the Myler bit as designed. However just wanted to clarify that one order does include 2 hooks even though the item description states one item per package... on some other ads the description stated that you did in fact need to order two, but not on this one! :)
