Ooops! I thought I was ordering a Rolodex type file for phone numbers - my mistake for not reading the description. But - all’s well that ends well as I can now file many of the business cards I have instead of having to transfer all the info from a business card to a Blank file card like I’ve always done. I actually like this box better! The box itself is very roomy, plenty of room for hundreds of business cards. It’s plenty sturdy and has an attractive appearance. It comes with a set of A-B-C dividers - very handy. If you have hand written numbers you want to file - I suggest buying a pack of index cards (they cost about 50 cents), trimming them to the size of a business card, record the info - and voila’, you now have a place for those too. No more trying to keep organized random slips of paper you collect along your business & personal dealings. I especially like, because this box is designed for business cards, there are no tabs on the bottom of each card you file that keeps it in the box - you can remove and replace the card from the box easily when needed. Turns out I prefer this instead of the Rolodex way I was storing phone numbers before. 😊

Things you might like:- It's a good size for business cards (3.5"x2").- It'll do for something the size of a poker card (3.5"x2.5"), but the card will hide the alphabetic index tabs.- It comes with 20 alphabetic index tabs. You can write on the tabs. Note that certain letters share a tab: IJ, PQ, UVW, and XYZ.- The lid stays up when you lift it up.- There are four plastic dividers, which avoids the problem of having cards flop over backwards when the box isn't crammed full.- The claimed capacity of 500 cards is plausible. I haven't put 500 cards in it, but I put exactly 100 between two dividers, plus the index tabs, and it was still usable. With five sections (separated by the four dividers), 500 cards is quite plausible. Thicker cards would reduce the card count, of course.- It comes with a spare post for connecting the lid to the tray.- If it turns upside down, the cards MOSTLY stay in place, although some might need to be rearranged.- It's lightweight.Things you might not like:- There's nothing to hold the lid closed. If you want to take this somewhere, you'd need something like a rubber band to hold it shut. If all you'll do is leave it on a desk, no problem.- It's not designed for Rolodex cards.- Index cards (3"x5") don't fit.- It doesn't come with blank cards.- It's not ruggedized. It's not flimsy or cheaply constructed, but it's still plastic, after all. It'll be fine if it spends a leisurely life on your desk, but if you'll travel with it a lot and subject it to rough use, you might want something sturdier.- The index tabs will probably become dog-eared over time.

They put in small print that the cards are not included and expect you to see it. But the photo has the cards in it. This is false advertisement. If you don't include the cards you shouldn't put a photo with the cards in the holder. NOTE.......THEY DON"T INCLUDE THE CARDS. EVERYONE TAKE NOTICE!!! What a crock of crap. So upset.
