Used this to extend the drainage hose on my machine it’s pretty intuitive and i have no experience with these things and managed but just be careful because the plastic it is made out of is cheap but it does the job once installed. Use the hard plastic insert even if you have to squeeze it into the tube because if you try to attach without and tighten the clamps it will bend inWards as you tighten and water will leak from that.. i cut off the wide end with scissors as i didn’t need it

We had to double stack our washer and dryer, and I needed a longer drain hose to reach the washer.Our previous one was the generic rubber hose that was getting crumbly and discolored.This was a nice flexible hose that allowed me to reach my drain from my washer.I won't be looking at this hose, but it's a fine looking flexible hose.Good value and straight forward use for me.

Simply, the stated openings on the ends of this hose are not as advertised. They are smaller. I was able to jerry rig it so it kind of fit my needs, but if the sizes were accurate, I wouldn't have needed to do that at all. I wouldn't have bought it.

I needed to move my washing machine to a new position and this hose fit onto the existing hose and extended far enough to reach the drain from the new position.
