Great little bag that I can take all of my tech with me. I can fit my MacBook Air and my iPad Air in the padded sleeve, all of my charging cables, battery bank, and still have plenty of room for other things that the trip needs. As with anything from mystery ranch, the construction feels very high quality and will last for a long time. With the expandable section you can pack enough clothes for a weekend trip.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a travel shoulder bagThe removable shoulder strap is a little hard to remove but I see that as a positive as it won't come inadvertently.

Had been using a 22L version of this bag daily for about the last three years to carry my laptop and work papers. It was great other than being just a hair small for a true 15" laptop. The computer would fit in the padded space , but closing the zipper was near impossible.Otherwise it was a very durable and functional bag. After three years of being carried around, dropped on the floor,, tossed in and out of auto footwells, etc, it barely showed any wear at all, and all the zippers and other closures were working as well as the day I got it. It was such a great bag that my older son took it off to grad school with him, his laptop only being 13".So enter a 27L version. It is quite similar to the 22L, mostly just larger (no compression zipper) with a couple added features that will easily allow it to do double duty as a work and an overnight/minimalist weekend bag.My only suggestion for improvement would be, given the added size, and likely increased cargo carried, a shoulder pad on the carry strap would be much appreciated. I added and aftermarket one.

My 17 1/2 inch computer fits easily along with a keyboard and mouse. There’s plenty of room for notebooks and files as well. The interior dividers and pockets could be a little better. The same goes for the goofy zipper and latch on the outside, they could be better. Why not just make it an entire U-shaped zipper? The lack of a pad on the strap does cause some discomfort when carrying a heavy load. That is easily fixed by ordering a pad or a different strap. But in reality, it should come with it. All in all it works great for what I need, which is a good computer bag that can be used as a backpack occasionally when I am walking through airports and other job sites that require longer walks.

By itself, this is a GREAT bag. Extremely well designed, premium materials and premium construction. Worth every penny! However, what makes it even better is the accessory I purchased for it… a level 3A soft body armor panel (i.e. bullet proof panel) from Premier Body Armor. The panel fits perfectly inside of the bag and will stop any handgun round from 22LR to a 44 Magnum.I travel a lot and knowing that I always have a ballistic shield that I can use to cover my back (the bag quickly converts into a backpack) or just hold in front of me with the extra handles, gives me a certain piece of mind in today’s world.

Have to say I am very impresssed with this bag. Extremely well made and lots of room. I wish there was an external pocket for a water bottle and a larger area of Velcro. Would definitely purchase again.

But its just not a good hybrid. This is advertised as a 3 way briefcase, but as much as i really really really wanted to like it and keep it, it just was lacking in so many ways given the price offering.- laptop/tech compartment is sufficient- other storage pocket didn't feel "big" enough and felt tight- loved the "rip" style quick open front- loved the ability to convert from shoulder carry, to tote, to even backpack- hated the general weight; the thing is heavy even before adding in items- hated how confused i got trying to figure out which way to carry it. tote is always the main way... want to carry as a shoulder/sling style, but when i put in my camera and laptop, it just got heavy and i should just carry it as a backpack. but i want the backpack to be an option when i pack my gear in the bag; not be the default and primary means when the bag gets heavy from just basic loads...that said for nearly $200, i found this just way too overpriced for not being able to carry enough. I'd rather just buy a backpack or a better briefcase that offers more padding when carried as shoulder method and offers more storage.

Absolutely love this thing. Very well made and super high quality. Love the expandable and it's the perfect size for vehiclentonvehicle bagband forb taking bank and forth to work. I just really wish it had a pocket on the outside for mi to quickly throw my phone in or done papers without having to open or unzip something. Other than that this thing is great.
