The App triggered scheme but Don't know how to verify. Love it aside of connectivity based problems it has I found software issues with my device. Great for making art and using other apps. Looking into other apps to correct issues but amazing platform. With the spring that holds the device I worry as well but Observation. Better it hold a little too tight then a little too loose, also Unless the phone is In a direction that cannot charge, The device cant be used as a secondary battery and the phone at the same time With mine at least my device unsecured.

I actually keep this controller in my car for when I'm babysitting or have some real down time away from home. It's come in handy, allowing me to turn my phone into a gaming device that can entertain when needed. It was a bit tricky to get connected and set up at first, but once I reset bluetooth it seems to work well. I'm still looking for more games that work well with it and are appropriate for little kids. My nephew loved it so much he has tried taking it a few times with my phone attached...

As with most electronics, it took some time to get used to and figure out. We are not hardcore gamers but do play enough games to put this to good use.It connects using Bluetooth and seems to hold the phone in place well-so long as it's not thrown or dropped. I had to remove my phone case because it did not fit with the Pop Socket, but if you just have a flat, standard type phone case it would work without removing. It works with other family members' silicone case and an Otterbox commuter.The controller came with an instruction booklet, a charging cable, and a travel bag. Mine did NOT come with the thumb pads and stickers as many other reviewers showed but that's alright as they are not necessary. I fully charged it upon taking it out of the box because it came with nearly a dead battery.When pairing, the name came up in Bluetooth devices found as: "XBOX controller" instead of the name in the instruction booklet to search for, but it connected with no problems. We tested it with Roblox and it worked very well in the game Adopt Me. The buttons seemed to all function, although does not seem clear to what each did (like X or B for back or select etc.). There is a recommendation in the instruction booklet to download another app to possibly set up what the buttons do but I think we'll just experiment with it as is for now.I personally do not like running Roblox on my phone as it eats my battery but my other family members do and look forward to using this gadget on the go for long trips to make it easier to play their games. Minecraft is another great option for this controller. And I look forward to experimenting with STEAM on it as well.Note: we tested it on an iPhone 7 and SE, both "older" models. I would make sure to measure you phone to make sure it will fit in the opening slot of this product first (and has Bluetooth connectivity).

I ordered this for my grandson on January 12. It is only been five days. It will not keep a charge so I ordered him a second one and sending this one back hopefully the second one works better.!Received a second one same problem will not buy this ever again

I got this for my husband who loves to play games on his phone. He has the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and this fits perfectly. It's easy to connect and play his favorite game.
