Perhaps you already have the chain or you need replacement parts. You can separately buy the specialized hook to attach to the chain. The specialized choker hook allows the chain to be secured and makes sure it doesn’t fall out by accident.

The choker hooks are excellent quality at a reasonable price. They have a thick bright red powder coat that looks great though we know about chain and powder coat.Excellent product!

Can’t say for sure if these work with all 1/4†chain but it worked perfectly with the 1/4†China chain that you find in most box stores. Much cheaper than paying more for the 1/4†designed hooks that they want to charge you. Hooks work great for general purpose work.

I have always used hook that comes standard on the end of a chain. This so much better for grabbing a log, goes on, stays put and comes off easy.

I really did want to like these hooks. But they tend to bind up in the chain and I have to use a hammer to knock them loose.

Great hooks for pulling out logs. Bin using other styles of hooks but these are the best.
