Will be using them to tie down heavy equipment on a flat bed implement trailer but have not used them as of yet. They look to be heavy duty and can be used with 3/8" or 1/2" chain.

Hooks are a little small for 1/2 chain. 1 of 4 of the them had bad threads and wouldn't open all the way.
