First ordered a different style for our storage container, sent it back same day because the lock pin was short and device could be beat off fairly easily. Then we found these. Price for 2 were @ the same price as the other one, and these are 1000x better!! Very sturdy, thick metal and design, and it would take ALOT of work to get this off!! Highly recommend!!

We got this to secure our trailer at truck stops, rest areas, ect bc cargo theft is ac real problem is certain areas.You can't always know that someone is on your trailer if you are dead asleep. Also if we are loaded when we stop to go home we want want to make sure the load is safe where we park it. So now we don't worry about that anymore, no thief is going to go get a blow torch to open ours up when tyke got next to us is absolutely unlocked.On most of the reefer trailers we have to put the bar through the pole before we secure the trailer door or it won't fit, but it's never not worked on any one of our many reefer trailers.Just buy it, you'll sleep better knowing that your load is safe and sound.

Used this daily and after only a few months, the keys won’t work. The more we used this lock, the more difficult it became to lock and unlock the bar. Finally, it stopped working with the keys supplied.

The Mytee Products Steel Cargo Door Lock is well built and heavy duty. It's a very good idea and serves it's purpose well.The materials it's made of are 1/4" steel...the welds and finish are great.Once you get the two doors locked with this device, there is no opening them...even if the other locks are not locked.The lock is enclosed within a steel housing and that has a round, steel cover to protect it from the elements.I'm using this on a storage container at a lot that has had some break ins. I use this and a "Snatch Latch" on the same container. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I have these extra items installed for protection against intrusion.Highly recommended.

Lock works fine. Only problem is that the ends that wrap around the the door lock bars are too thick and can dig into the doors. Have to beat one side on, and off.
