Well made and while sturdy it does stretches well. Made a few shorts with this elastic band and it’s soooo comfortable and not too compressing - just the right amount to hold shorts in place without making it hard to wear all day.

Great black elastic: super stretchy, super long, and consistent look. 4/5 stars because it smells horrible. Most elastic smells weird, but it smells like vinegar.

the elastic was worn out so instead of buying new door pockets I replaced the elastic band . the advertisement claims its durable SO we will see.

I have used this elastic on leggings I made for my son. 2T. This elastic is perfect. I will be using this for many years to make things.I would highly recommend. I have washed and dried (in the dryer) this elastic many, many times and it still feels like new!
