Sturdy and well-made with an innovative triangular design that fits snugly onto the gap between the door and the floor. Thay come with a roll of tape to fix them to the door and follow its path as it opens and closes. I did not tape them (got four of these door draft stoppers) because, though tempting for the ease of use, I felt they would eventually show soil and dirt as they slide over the floor - especially in the winter when shoes track in some snow and ice. I felt it'd be just as adequate to move them out of the way by hand and hang them up as necessary. But that was my own way of looking at it - they come with a roll of tape and easy to follow install instructions. Overall, the door drafters are thick, feel relatively heavy., and, again, due to their triangular shape, they do fit much better than other "round ones" I have used in the past. Good quality and they work as intended.

I would get the 38†length if you have 36†wide doors - just to cover the ends. I just place them next to the door, am not using the stick on Velcro to keep them in place. I did not want to ruin the wood. They do muffle the sound. We just got wood plank floor coverings, and the gap under the door is much wider than with carpet. Plus having wood floors makes any sound seem louder and “echoier.†- it’s makes the room sounds more “live†than muffled with carpet,

4 stars for the draft stopper itself- fits nicely, does its job. It comes with tape to put in the door that the door stopper can stick to like Velcro. The tape ripped the paint right off the door when I took it off to try and adjust it. So loses a star for that

I really like that they are waited down and stay in place. I have a patio door that is very old. It really lets In the cold air around the floor area. These have really helped to stop that cold air.

Love this weighted door gap blocker. I use it for my granddaughter’s bedroom to block the light and sound from the adjacent bathroom. It is the perfect size and weight and shape. I like the handle for picking it up & hanging when not in use during the day. She’s 18 months old so she likes to drag it around the house for fun. Anything she finds in her room must be a toy so this has a dual purpose.

This product does a decent job of muffling some of the noise coming from our apartment hallway, but I would strongly suggest not using the hook and eye adhesive that comes with it. It tore several hefty pieces of paint off of our front door when we removed it to replace it because the blocker was no longer sticking to the door. There are several paint- and-fabric-friendly hook and eye adhesive products available. Learn a lesson from our mistake and order some.
