I have used various sized Nalgene bottles for many many years because they are leakproof & unbreakable. This wide mouth 4 oz size is handy to use at home for mouthwash. It is perfect for travel. Slightly larger than the 3.4 oz max limit to carry on a plane, but perfect for a check in suitcase: the small size means you can pack several of them in various places that would otherwise be empty.

Bottle is simple and has a wide enough mouth for my purposes (using for storing Gulp Alive! fishing soft baits) which make it easy for on-the-go usage. Will definitely update to 5-stars after testing a few times on the water to ensure that there is no leakage. Firm construction, yet pliable enough not to worry about it cracking from being thrown around.

I've used Nalgene bottles of varying shapes and sizes over the years, primarily for motorcycle touring and other traveling. I've never had a Nalgene leak, though I keep any fluid-filled bottles in a zip-loc bag just in case. I have had a couple of Nalgene bottles crack but they were pretty old and had been dropped a few times at very low temperatures onto my concrete. This particular 4 oz. bottle is perfect for storing a sufficient amount of foam ear plugs for a week-long motorcycle trip, or two weeks' worth of shampoo.

These are a little pricy but essential for carrying liquids when backpacking into high altitudes. Literally every other container leaks but these are bomber!
