Installation went well with Teflon paste. No leaks so far and regulator seem to work well. Much happier with this 1/2 in filter/regulator combo compared to the 1/4 in combo I returned due to leaky gauge. Not sure what to do with the plastic quick connect. I used my own high flow quick connect

Working well. Didn’t realize it came in a kit with other things with it. I’ve never seen plastic quick connect air fittings in this size. I have four different size/style of quick connects but this one is different than all of those and won’t work with any other ones. It’s a bigger thru hole than your standard 1/4†fitting but not as big as your 1/4†high flow fittings. 🤷ðŸ½â€â™‚ï¸ Might be a good trick to play on someone that you don’t want using your stuff- weird air hose fittings that you can’t find anywhere else. Lol.Cons: air leak from the secondary gage hole plug - easy fix though. Also, the pressure adjust handle feels pretty cheap.I will say that the auto drain works! I’ve never had one of these auto drains work on cheap or on expensive ones. Will report back if it you know blows up orsomething

This unit is like the one I have had on my compressor for over 5 yrs. The plastic water filter bowl finally cracked. The new one came with the gauge hole plug reversed from my original. I mounted backwards by mistake. Lesson... Get out the magnifying glasses to re-read instructions

This regulator failed explosively in less than 30 days. It seriously shot the bowl off the bottom of the regulator. That little bowl sounds like a shotgun when it leaves its home with 120psi behind it. Seriously, though, it could have hurt someone, namely me. It's a cheap regulator for a reason...most of it is cheap plastic. Unless you like small explosions and flying shards of plastic, don't buy this POS. Oh, and the clowns that sold it didn't give me a full refund, either. Nanpoo.

First thing I did when i got the filter was plumb it up with fittings to pressure test for air leaks. The initial test showed that the regulator was "wide open" after adjusting to the desired psi it held air perfectly and didnt leak the slightest. Tested with soapy water spray, for those that are curious.

The quality was adequate, it is light duty . the surprise was the plastic bowl guard. This will be a good device as long as you are not in an industrial environment

I would say it removed about 50% of water in my lines. There is almost nothing in the bowl, but yet when using my air grinders/blowers, water still comes out the other end, just much less. The gage location for my perticular setup isn't very good. My compressor (60gal Porter Cable) comes out of the left of compressor.. which leaves the gage facing the wall where I need to go around everything to see the pressure. This unit is directional, thus I can not simply turn it around.Overall it will help with water in the air lines, but will not filter all of it. I don't recommend for people who use their compressors for painting.(yes I empty my compressor daily from the bottom to be sure there is no water. I also empty it from the bottom every hour or so when under heavy use.)
