Never done sand blasting before. I used a 6g air compressor at around 90-100 psi with some 80 grit glass beads and this thing did a great job. I saw a blast gun at harbor freight for more than double and it looks part-for-part exactly the same so I'm more than satisfied with this.

Works fine. Have to be sure not to tip forward or media will poor out. Annoying but just requires a little attention

I did a large scale glass etching over a vinyl negative and it turned out great.

I use this blaster with baking soda to clean the grime off of my model airplane engines and it works great. It removes the grit and grime without damaging the fairly soft metal of the head and crankcase.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I should have known better but this thing is a waste of time and effort!!! Sadly I didn’t get around to my project until a week after the return window so I’m stuck with it. A whole bag of sand to get down to bare metal. Everywhere else it just made my roll bar sandy….Instructions with it are crap and are just generic safety stuff nothing on how to actually operate it so you’ll have to track down a video.Heading to hardware store to buy sandpaper which I should have just done in the first place!! It’s sad a pathetic what kind of products are being sold now, what waste of time, money, effort and resources!! DO BETTER!!

It's simple, but that's OK. I've been using walnut to remove excess mortar from stones and it works. Definitely not a big-project tool. The hopper empties pretty fast and it would be nice if they gave you a stand to keep it upright for refilling (minor thing), but for the money I couldn't ask for more.It blasts. That's what its job is and that's what it does.
