The bottle is attached to a polyurethane holder and is held in place with a plastic snapper ring that has an adjustable locking device. Other types of bottles may be used but a different type of fastener may be required to hold the bottle in place

It's a fine sampler, I've had one for about a decade but UV and wear finally took its toll, so I ordered a replacement.FedEx couldn't get me one intact. First one arrived with the box destroyed, missing everything but the pole. Thomas Scientific was quick to send me another one. Second one arrived, box had obviously been opened and retaped, with different tape, again, only thing in the box was the pole. Thomas Scientific wouldn't just send me the missing parts, so they just refunded the order.

This is a very well-designed device. You can get samples at a long or short distances with good control of the sample bottle.

This product is not as advertised. All I received was a 12 foot extendable painting pole. There was no swing sampler, bottle, or clamp as shown.

Understand that you are buying just a 12' pole! Not the sampling bottle or the swing sampler! Im sure I could have found a generic fiberglass pole for half the price!
