A life saver!! This thing is so rad! It’s easy to clean and I would know my 18 month old has been playing in it he thinks it’s his sink. I’ve had to clean dirt out of it so my dogs could get clean fresh drinks lol

So far, the trough has worked great. I set it up with a 4" PVC reservoir above it with an end cap for a lid. The float IS adjustable, so you can dial in the level.Every morning I dump a pitcher of clean water into the reservoir, and the chickens are using it every day. Eventually, I'm going to hook it up to a rain water collection tank.

Works as advertised. Hook up is standard 1/2†MPT. It appears to be almost bulletproof. The water bowl slopes toward the front, so the water is deepest right at the lip, which is a good design. The plumbing appears to be nylon, which is not particularly robust in UV, so I’ll put a shade over it to block the intense AZ sun.

Only wish we had known about this sooner. We no longer have to fill water bowls for our dogs. It is sturdy, easy to install and works very well.

Drain plug is useless!!! Plastic plug that strips the very first time you attempt to reinstall. The bolt is short or the rubber washer is too big to add to the problem.Water valve leak. Bought three and two out of the three continue to overflow because the valve does not shut all the way. Water pressure is 45 so under max spec.Out of six bolts holding down the covers for the valve assembly, four washers were missing.We bought it because of the drain option that you better not use because you are not going to get it back in more than once....if that. DON'T BUY!!!!!

nice sturdy metal water dish for small pets. had to exchange first one because filling mechanism was wonky and valve leaked. does not come with mounting hardware or mounting instructions.

We love this waterer for out dogs in their outside play yard . The automatic float keeps refilling it all summer so no worries on hot summer days. We bought a second for our Mexican home as well.
