Perfect for stopping a heavy door from sliding closed. We've tried everything from wedge to bucket door stops...they were clunky, difficult to wedge or just got in the way. Our home is very modern, all white, heavy doors with glass tile floors. Nothing would stay in place. so we had to find something minimalistic, white, and rugged enough to hold but sleek enough to be invisible. Check marks on all the above. Easy install. Stays in place. Keeps door in whatever position we want - even partial open. Light gray rubber with white hardware keeps them unobtrusive. Only thing better (I didn't take off points because it didn't claim this feature) would be a quick release lever. No big deal.

Works great. But like someone else mentioned, the included screws are a set of wood screws for a solid wood door, and a set of metal screws for a metal skinned door. But if you want to install this on a hollow core door, then it is best to get self-tapping screws for hollow core door. If you use the wood screws in a hollow core door, eventually the holes in the door will strip out and the screws and kickdown will fall off. I have this on a hollow core door with self-tapping screws, and it works good for now. But I can tell that on a hollow core door if someone it really abusing this and kicking it down hard, it isn't going to last, it's eventually going to rip out of the door.

The Metal Hardware part of this doorstop seems okay. However, the Faux Rubber ( Plastic ) Tip is useless on Ceramic Tiled floors.Return window expired - I had to purchase soft-rubber, 10-pack replacement tips at $7.99. Not Cost Effective - and an expensive waste of time as well.Definitely Not Recommended if You are using this Door Stopper on Hard, Smooth surfaces.

Simple, effective and reliable. The spring-loaded type where you press down on a pedal can work loose, and don't work if the floor is uneven. This one just digs in harder when pushed. Superb.

A bargain price for a sturdy door stop. Replaced a plastic bracket one which broke so this one's here to stay.
