Cut the kick and open a reverb, or chop things up with a dotted delay – mixer FX are one-touch effects on each channel, great for building energy, shaping your sound, or just going wild. Choose from eight effects and three filters, and assign them to the dedicated slots on the mixer for quick access. Grab a portable speaker, hook up an iPad, and take your S3 on the road With Traktor DJ 2 – mix with two channels on a streamlined interface, and dig through a bottomless record crate with Soundcloud go+ integration. This is a truly great controller with virtual DJ. I am exceptionally happy with it. I don't know if the volume output level sucks as some other reviews say because I use a usb DSP for output. But I can say that the build quality and functional control offered by this are top notch. Personally I had no other choice as I wanted a clean look and layout and full support from virtual dj and in my opinion this was the only dj controller on the market that offered that. So I'm glad it worked out.

Great Pro deck for controlling Traktor. The S3 is NI’s middle level controller. A bit bigger and boasts more features than the S2 but not as overpriced (IMO) as the S4. For me, this is the perfect Traktor deck. I have mine configured with two track decks, a sample deck plus one live input for a small synth. Highly recommend.

The headphone volume is so low you can’t mix. It’s a shame that no one has done anything to correct this issue!

I LOVE it. It even works uncovered but at a much lower volume. I believe this is one of their few remaining boards that still support ios so I can use it with my M1 iPad.Tech support is ok--you can't talk to anyone, but they do fine through email. It takes a long time (about a week or so), but they DO eventually get back to you.

Price: I bought it for 379 GBP, but it comes with Traktor Pro 3 for free, which costs around 100 GBP. It feels like you're buying this controller for 279 GBP, which is the price of a Pioneer FLX4.I really love it. There is enough space to do your mixing and prepare additional tracks/drones/percs for decks 3 and 4.
