I was looking for a long lasting treat for my young, 40lb pit/heeler mix (very high energy) and these are the second best option I’ve found, about 30 minutes (longest lasting are the yak chews). Make sure to feed it to your dog on a towel, blanket, etc because as they gnaw on it, some of the small pieces when combined with the slobber will form a glue that will be next to impossible to remove from carpeting.

I have been feeding beef cheeks to my dogs for years because they typically provide a long lasting chew. These particular ones crumbled and my terrier (15 pounds) was through it in minutes with small pieces everywhere. This was followed by an rupset GI tract for 24 hours (not normal for them as they have eaten other brand beef cheeks with no issues). I really wanted to like this product but it’ll my dogs did not do well with it and not refundable :(

Definitely worth it! I separated the review in three sections. Time, stools, and smell.As the title says it I have a Belgium Malinoi. What they say is true. they LOVE to bite. So having him mouthing a piece for a while is important to his being. Well this was it. It took him an hour and 15 to finish it. He'd go from playing with it to chewing it to licking it! Initially it took him 13 min to EVEN be able to bite off a corner!! That's a record in our home cus this kid chews through bones like a knife to warm butter. A miracle product 😂. If you have a rough chewer look into these!Stomach/bowl movements after:So my kid has a soft stomach. You wouldn't know it with all the weird crap he eats lol but he has a sensitive tummy. Uh these did loosen his stool a bit. Nothing alarming just softer than usual. Which is why I don't give them to him often. It's only when I haven't gotten a chance to work him. So I just make sure to give him something to help him for that day.smell: There's a smell. FYI. Well like cow but air dried 😅 not the fan of the weird smell. Yet their ability to entertain my dog for so long i can deal with it.

With the peanut butter variant, the whole outside coloring and probably 3/4 of the treat is a shell. The rolled beef cheek center itself is very wimpy, probably good for a 45 lb dog with a weaker jaw, but a 90 plus pound dog, no way.

My dog loves these beef cheek rolls. The center of the roll is definitely softer and higher value to my dog. As he chewed it, the center fell apart and flaked all over so it made quite the mess but it was easy enough to vacuum up. Its also very stinky but only while he's actively chewing on it. The chew has lasted about a week with 1-2 hours of chewing daily. Overall it seems like a pretty safe chew to give him. Even though it is a long lasting chew, it doesn't have any hard ridges or anything, the edges just get soft and gummy much like bully sticks.

My 6 dogs are obsessed with these. Some are bigger and tougher, some are more puffy, but each type works great for my softer and heavier chewers. They LOVE the coating and never any tummy upset. Perfect for entertaining cabin fever pups in snow storm season!

I have heavy chewers and these do last longer than anything else I have found.
