Great Product. Does not come with instructions. I just kept adding about 1/4 cup of water at a time. It does puff up 8 to 10 times the size it comes. Pulls apart easy.

Arrived quickly. After spritzing with water, I waited a half hour and it expanded greatly. I then squeezed out extra moisture and placed in snail terrarium. Working out just fine.

I don't know how to judge a snails happiness level but they picked up there speed a little and left slime trails over ever inch. Now they look pretty cozy.

I like that this moss gets quite big after soaking with water. It is ok for the price. I love that it can absorb water so well and retain it most of the time. The color fits well with my small terrarium and is easy to spread around.My snail has not really go much on it though and it has a strong mossy smell.

this is peat moss, it's acidic and bitter to snails/slugs. They prefer spaghum moss, but don't order it from ReptiZoo, it arrives full of toxic mold.

My snails like it, keeps the moisture in and more moss than I expected but when I get it wet, the water turns brown….
