I got the 5 pounds of 3 - 5 inch slate pieces. They came nicely packaged in a box and none were broken. There are enough pieces for me to aquascape 2 nano tanks (such as 2 9 inch cube tanks or 2 standard 2.5 gallon tanks). A few have some slight chop marks but they're not obvious.A few of my pieces had white and clear veins (likely quartz) which I think is a nice bonus and adds interest. If your pieces bubble let them sit for a while in water, mine bubbled initially but it was air pockets not limestone. Completely ph neutral and I would know since I keep shrimp that like low ph of 5.5, definitely nothing coming out of these!None of the pieces are overly thin or square so don't expect that. If you want to make the slate bridge I've seen a lot online, you'll probably want the next size up to get a long piece.I got 2 of 5 inch rocks, 4 of 3 inch pieces (palm sized) and 2 pieces about half of the palm of my hand. The thinnest piece is about 0.5 inches and the thickest about 2 inches. I broke one of the smaller pieces in half to work better as accents. These worked very well for an iwagumi aquascape.

These are exactly what I wanted. I am upgrading my ADFs 10 gallon tank to a 20 long. I wanted more visual interest plus more hides in the new tank alongside all the plants and driftwood. This ended up being exactly what I needed! There were more pieces than I expected too, which was a great. Very nice variety of shapes and sizes too. They were a little dusty, but that’s to be expected. Just rinsed them and they’re fine. They are still wet in the photos, so this is how dark they will be when the tank is full. If I could give these more stars, I would.

Not much to say, its a bag of rocks. Dusty so make sure to rinse them off before placing in your aquarium. Hold silicone well for creating aquascapes for your fish etc. Maybe a little overpriced but you pay for convenience.

Slates are about the same size (3-5 inches)as described in the product page.some states are thicker and some are more flat, good weight. I use them in bird bath. works out wellArrived in very good condition, no sharp edges and safe to handle without protecting gloves.

Love these rocks! Used in 55 gallon aquarium for aquatic turtle and zebra danios. Perfect size, easy to clean, and provides natural nail file for turtle!

Fits great in my 20g long. I have fine sand substrate and these are stuck up just fine between the sand and the other rocks holding them up. I created a cave for one that I put an air stone in and the bubbles do not move the rocks at all. Definitely rinse before use!

Great little selection of slate, looks beautiful in my natural themed planted tank. I used aquarium sealant to glue them together, worked like a charm. My African dwarf frogs, Ramshorn snail, and betta all seem to like it! Will probably order more so the frogs can have even more places to wedge themselves into. Thanks!

Ordered these for an aquarium. Lovely assortment of rocks between 3-5 inches in length. Rinse them before putting in to your tank as they are a bit dusty.

belles pierres, mais serais mieux si il y`en avait de plus grandes pour un aquarium de 65 gallons, pour le prix il me semble juste (surtout quand on habite le centre ville, c`est pas évident a trouver). Je rachèterai probablement si le prix ne monte pas trop.
