Review for Natural Teak Wood Cooking UtensilsI recently switched to HexClad cookware and decided to upgrade my utensils from Joseph Joseph’s plastic set to natural teak wood. This was my first time using natural wood utensils, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice.First impressions: these utensils look fantastic! The teak wood adds a warm, natural touch to my kitchen, and they complement my new cookware beautifully. The quality is evident, and the craftsmanship feels durable yet lightweight.Functionality: I was initially worried about food sticking or staining, especially since I made pasta tonight, but I was pleasantly surprised. Even after leaving the utensils in the pasta for a while, they didn’t stain, and cleanup was a breeze. Everything washed out easily, which was a big relief.Performance: These utensils are gentle on my HexClad cookware, so I don’t have to worry about scratches. They’re well-designed and came with everything I needed for my cooking needs. From stirring sauces to serving dishes, they handle every task effortlessly.Overall: I definitely recommend these teak wood utensils. They’re practical, stylish, and a perfect match for my new cookware. If you’re looking for something that’s easy to use, easy to clean, and great-looking, these are worth trying!

This is a great set of cookware. They are decent quality (not the best, but certainly not bad at all), and there is enough variety without too much duplication of functionality. I am on a quest to eliminate plastic from my home wherever I can and I'm happy with this purchase to replace my old plastic cookware that I've had since college.

Very good quality, light weight, and a perfect replacement for our old, unknowingly toxic, plastic utensils.Company was very responsive when we asked if the seal coat on the wood was also non-toxic, which it is, as well as very responsive and quick with the replacement of one shipping damaged piece, a spoon. Very happy!

Lately, I've been trying to get rid of all my plastic kitchen utensils and replace them with all-natural alternatives. These work well, but there were two problems... #1: I purchased them because wood is a good alternative to using plastic utensils, BUT they were all in the box individually wrapped in plastic! *face palm*... LOL! And #2: One of them arrived splintered in a couple of places so I had to take some sandpaper to it to make it usable.

When I received this set it was beautiful. However the salad fork was splintered. I contacted the seller. They responded in a kind and courteous way which is rare nowadays. They sent a replacement immediately. Each piece is sturdy and works well.

We made the switch to teak wood to move away from plastic. We have had these teak kitchen utensils for about a couple weeks. Most of the utensils seem like really great quality, however, the wood started to split on the tongs. so I had to toss them. I am really hoping that the rest hold up well!

I would almost prefer an unfinished option so I could use my own oils
