My husband is ROUGH on pants. He works and plays hard resulting in worn out clothes. The pants are SO durable, do NOT rip, fit perfectly, provide a soft stretchy waistband, have plenty of pockets, come with a ring on the belt loop for keys/ tools and are perfect for warm and cool weather! They are also versatile in regards to being able to dress them up or down which makes them perfect for my husband's work and recreational activities.Totally worth the price!

I bought these for my job as baseball grounds keeper for a AAA club (aka, legit baseball field work). In that work, you're always wet, dirty, and all over the place as to what you need to do (every mother's worst nightmare if it were were kids play clothes lol). ON top of that, apparently we had "the worst" early spring the heads grounds keeper said he'd ever gone thru- what with rain delays, cancellation, number of tarp pools in a week, flood/tornado warnings (and an actual tornado touchdown to boot). So not only did we have torrential rains (worse than Vegas monsoon season), normal operations means you are always wet, dirty, muddy, and also firehosing down eqiupment to rinse them off, and perhaps even yourself to clean yourself off. On top of that, it was very cold here early season (although it was 52F on an early practice day, it felt like 40- WITH the rain.. which we had some ice/sleet rain as well for a couple days while working). Why do i go into all this? to tell you the conditions and use case that i used these pants. And in those conditions, and doing that kind of work, i never felt a drop of water and I never felt a single chill while wearing these pants. Additional details, i did not have long johns or long waterproof underwear on either (I did have waterproof normal style underwwear though). As for comfort- very comfortable. Lots of pockets (they are cargo pants after all). They are a bit baggy however- but that just makes them comfortable. I tried them out on rainy days during my FedEx routes as well and noticed that the pants had a tendency to slip down in an uncomfortable way (made my belt dig into me) from the constant standing up, sittin gdown, bending, getting out of the car, getting back in, etc. Now that is defintely due to having a belly, BUT, so much more noticeable with these pants requiring constant pants adjustment (pulling up) vs any other pants I used with the same exact belt. Perhaps the bagginess of it was making it move more since it's a slightly thicker pant for the water protection?Anyway. All those details to describe just how extreme my use case was and extreme demands these pants held up to- and very successfully. I just wish they offered a less baggy version of this and a more "relaxed fit" or maybe a more stretchable material so they didn't have to be so baggy. However, for extreme manual labor work clothes, it does make it comfy to bend, twist, etc.

I ordered my regular size, waist about 1/2- 1 inch small, length good.Relaxed fit is good. Material is off a bit lightweight, probably not for any hard work and not comfy like lounge wear.More colors. Dark khaki?Needs double stitch crotch.Would prefer back mini pocket *1 to be on both sides and about half inch deeper too shallow for a pen.Front pockets should be a little wider. Ditch the watch pocket or tighten it up it gets in the way of the main front pocket.Needs drop in pocket behind side cargo pockets for phone.Prefer no velcro back pockets, open Jean style works best.Prefer no d rings. And definitely put a better front zipper, YKK and bigger. Metal front snap preferred.

Most importantly, they're comfortable. Light weight enough to breath but not so much that they feel cheap.Waist fits true, they have a little stretch also which is nice. The length definitely runs a little long.Im 38/32 and these fit like a 38/34. (See the picture)I'll order 38/30 for my next pair, considering these last the durability test.

Pants are not sized correctly I ordered 40w 30l. the label has both 40w 30l and 3XL. the waist line did not match the rest of the pants. Zippers did not operate smoothly and the teeth on the zipper were to small for the size of the open ing on these pants.

Material seems very 5.11 Strike-ish. Can't really use mine as they sent me the wrong size. Seller isn't great. Otherwise the pants seem fine.
