Super cute, perfect shade of pink. These are American made and cut so they fit large. An Amazon essentials short I wear a 10. These a size 6 fits the same. I’m 5’7â€, 150 lbs. great quality and good weight of fabric. Cotton!

My hips are small relative to my waist size, and I often find that shorts are too tight in the waist and give me muffin top. Or else, if they're big enough in the waist, then they're so baggy in the hips that they look like they're a pleated or paper bag style (even when they're not). These Nautica shorts are cut better than most for my shape. They are a tiny bit large but very comfortable in waist and roomy in thighs. I'm worried a size down might be too tight.The "papaya" color is an more vibrant orange than I was expecting, I may try to exchange for a different color or possibly to try the size down.

Although Amazon recommended a size up, ignore it. Order the size you normally wear. These are quality shorts, that look great on. Short enough but still long enough I can wear them in the summer to work. Recreation industry. There is a slight stretch to the material which is always nice. I recommend these short and plan on ordering more.

I ended up buying five colors in these shorts which fit well, especially in the waist. I am 67 and have short legs, so I carry more weight in my waist than when I was younger. I weigh 176. These shorts allow plenty of room in the hips and the waist is elastic so the comfort is fantastic. My husband is tired of my endless array of leggings (which I refuse to give up!), so I went looking for something more tailored for our steamy South Florida summers. I found these lightweight shorts which allow air flow and have a great tailored fit. I love that they are not too long as many shorts I've tried come down to my knees. I also bought some Amazon Basics 3.5 inch inseam shorts which are a good length, but the waist is pretty tight compared to these Nautical shorts.

These are really cute and flattering. I am curvy and these were a gamble that paid off. Versatile, wash well, but I recommend hanging to dry and iron if needed.

This is great! Really hard for me to get shorts that fit well and I was surprised that this fit so well and is comfy. The material is light and soft too. It’s stretchy and easy to walk about in.
